Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No. Parsing and rendering happen entirely in your browser, and the file is never sent to a server.

Will the PDF look identical to the original Word document?

No. Styling is normalized during conversion. Complex layouts, floating objects, multi-column text, and headers/footers will not survive the conversion.

How do I actually save the PDF?

Through your browser's print dialog. After the preview renders, open Print and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination.

Are images from the document kept in the PDF?

Yes, images are embedded inline in the output. Documents with many large images can produce a heavy PDF.

Does it tell me anything about what it couldn't handle?

Partly. When the document uses styles the parser does not recognize, those are reported as conversion notes in the UI before you print. That list covers unrecognized styles only — it is not a completeness check, so review the preview yourself rather than treating an empty list as a guarantee.
